Georgia officials asking the federal government to study another deepening of Savannah's harbor have picked up a key endorsement in Congress. Republican U.S. Rep. Sam Graves of Missouri threw his support behind the study Monday while visiting the Port of Savannah.

A burning cargo ship full of Porsches and VWs is adrift in the mid-Atlantic

The Portuguese navy rescued the 22-member crew from the Felicity Ace, which was scheduled to arrive in the port of Davisville, R.I., next week. None of the crew was injured.
