Members of the International Aerospace Machinists union march toward the union's hall Thursday to vote on a contract offer with airplane maker Boeing in Renton, Wash. Workers overwhelmingly rejected the contract and 96% voted to authorize a strike.

Boeing reaches tentative deal with its production workers in hopes to avoid strike

The union's members still need to vote on Boeing's proposal and decide whether to authorize a strike if the offer is rejected. If that's the case, a walkout could begin as soon as Friday.

With no crew aboard, spacecraft Starliner lands without a hitch

The spacecraft landed in New Mexico early Saturday morning leaving two astronauts behind on the International Space Station. The crew members will return to earth in February aboard a SpaceX craft.
