The World Series-winning Atlanta Braves are adding some exciting new talent to the team in the MLB draft, while drama continues over the exit of former Brave and now Los Angeles Dodger Freddie Freeman. GPB's Leah Fleming talks with Eric Cole, deputy site manager for the blog and podcast Battery Power.

The MLB All-Star Game goes down Tuesday night in Los Angeles, and former Atlanta Braves star Freddie Freeman, now an LA Dodger, is an All-Star player for the National League. But behind the scenes, balls, strikes and fouls are being called as the drama continues over his trade to the Dodgers.

Meanwhile, the Braves are adding some new talent to the team during the MLB draft. So far the World Series champs have selected Owen Murphy in Round 1.

Eric Cole, deputy site manager for the blog and podcast Battery Power, said that overall it was an all around solid draft for the Braves, who added some intriguing arms and some bats, including filling in spots they thought they needed such as catcher.

Cole talks with GPB's Leah Fleming.
