Friday on Political Rewind, a crowd of more than 1,000 cheering Republicans crowded together on the South Lawn of the White House. President Donald Trump accepted the GOP nomination for president. In his acceptance speech, the president accused Democrats of condoning violent protests in American cities and insisted that he would restore law and order to the streets.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris struck back, saying that the violence and the faltering economy are all taking place on the president’s watch.
