Thursday on Political Rewind, we remember the life and legacy of civil rights icon C.T. Vivian.

DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond said the generation of Vivian and Rep. John Lewis were an exceptional group of activists and leaders.

“From Black Americas perspective, the Vivians, the Kings, the Abernathys; they were our Greatest Generation,” he said. “That who these men and women are, and were.”

And, a feud between Gov. Brian Kemp and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms develops further as the two attempt to reconcile their positions.

Journalist Patricia Murphy said the dispute is disrupting a historically productive bipartisan relationship between the two important leaders.

“This is a broken relationship and the people of this state need it fixed,” Murphy said.

Meanwhile, the latest polling shows big advantages for Democratic nominee and former-Vice President Joe Biden against President Trump. But what about undecided voters? In 2016, those who decided on their support in the final week turned out to be a crucial bloc of voters for President Donald Trump.
