On this edition of Political Rewind, we talk with two women who write about issues of race, gender and social inequity.

CBS Sunday Morning Commentator Faith Salie acknowledges that she has been a lifelong approval junkie. She is painfully aware that despite real progress, women still struggle for their voices to be heard.

Atlanta-based novelist and playwright Pearl Cleage puts women at the center of all of her work. She shares her minister father’s passionate commitment to black empowerment.

We talk to Salie and Cleage about their works playing at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.
