On this edition of Political Rewind, a conversation with longtime panelist George “Buddy” Darden.

We talk about his four decades in public life, starting with his election as Cobb County District Attorney through his service in the state legislature and during 12 years as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Buddy was bitten by the political bug early in life and, as a young college student, he first went to Washington during the tenure of legendary Georgia U.S. Sen. Richard B. Russell.

Buddy has been a witness to some of the most momentous events in recent American and Georgia history.
