Political Rewind: Kemp Medicaid Plan Gets Committee Approval

On this edition of Political Rewind, two major policy proposals are taking shape at the legislature right now. A Senate committee has voted to give Gov. Kemp the power to determine the future of Medicaid expansion in Georgia. The measure is sure to be hotly contested by Democratic lawmakers.
Meanwhile, a House Committee is continuing public hearings on a bill that will fix in law the voting system Georgians will soon put to use. The measure also proposes fixes to controversial regulations that some say denied voters the right to cast ballots. Do the changes go far enough? Our panel weighs in.
