A 4.4 magnitude earthquake rattled the ground near Decatur, Tennessee, about 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
People as far south as Atlanta reported feeling the quake, which was followed minutes later by an aftershock with a 3.3 magnitude.
