On this edition of Political Rewind, we come to you from the headquarters of the State Bar of Georgia in downtown Atlanta in front of an audience of journalists, lawyers and judges from across the state.

We’re looking at the latest in the gun debate: is the answer to school safety arming teachers? Two candidates for statewide offer weigh in with their own, similar ideas. Then, we look at the issues bubbling up at the legislature: a proposed ban on using handheld phones while driving and a measure to give victims of sexual predators more power to go after abusers. Plus, a stealth move at the State Capitol threatens to change the government in one county.
