Today on "Political Rewind," we're closing in on the first 100 days of the Trump administration. What's your assessment?

Some, including President Trump himself, argue that "100 days" is an artificial construct. But like it or not, it's been a benchmark by which new presidents are judged since 1933. Franklin Delano Roosevelt inaugurated the motif by promising dramatic action in his first 100 days in office, and the concept has been with us ever since. Here's a transcript of remarks that Trump made to the Associated Press Chief White House Correspondent Julie Pace regarding this calculation.

Also on today's show, former Georgia governor Sonny Perdue is about to be confirmed as Secretary of Agriculture for the Trump administration. What kind of impact will he have on Georgia's most lucrative industry?

And the 6th District race continues to draw lots of attention, ads, and comment from across the political spectrum.
