We find out what’s filming in Georgia with Jennifer Brett, who writes the Atlanta Buzz blog for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She tells us about the latest Madea movie, the next steps in Marvel’s cinematic universe, and all the other productions across the state.

We say goodbye to activist Darius Weems of Athens, who passed away Sunday from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 27. Weems’ battle with Duchenne was documented in the film “Darius Goes West.”  Plus, photographer Thomas Struth captures larger-than-life images that take people places they don't normally get to see – like space stations and physics laboratories. His art often focuses on technology and man-made landscapes and he encourages viewers to see the world differently. Atlanta's High Museum of Art opens a new exhibit of his works this weekend, called "Thomas Struth: Nature and Politics." It's the first time the exhibit will be shown in the U.S. We talk with Struth and the museum’s assistant curator of photography, Gregory Harris, about the photographs in the exhibit, which include two taken in Atlanta. 

And finally, the Atlanta-based duo St. Beauty visits the GPB Music Performance Studio to play a set. Then, we talk with band members Isis Valentino and Alex Belle before they take the stage this weekend at the Afropunk Festival’s Carnival of Consciousness in Atlanta.
