Report: 3,500 Rape Kits Remain Untested In Georgia

A new report shows that the Georgia Bureau of Investigations is currently dealing with nearly 3,500 backlogged rape kits. Health care professionals are required to submit rape kits to authorities if a sexual assault victim requests it. The political satire TV show “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” recently looked at the backlog of untested rape kits across the nation. We talk about the backlog with Atlanta native Jo Miller, the show's executive producer.
