Atlanta is growing and it's growing fast. For the last six years, Atlanta has been the top moving destination in the U.S., according to Penske Truck Rental. Within the next 25 years, expect many more new faces to the city. The Atlanta Regional Commission estimates about 2.5 million more people will call the metro area home by 2040. But as we see the city growing, there are also growing challenges from transportation to income inequality"We know even with our plans, congestion will get worse (in Atlanta)," says Mike Alexander of Atlanta Regional Commission.

Mike Alexander of the Atlanta Regional Commission talks about what the region needs to do to sustain that added growth. We also hear from Chris Leinberger of the Brookings Institution  and  George Washington University, Bem Joiner of the Center for Civic Innovation, and Nick Sexton of SustainAtlanta.
