Blue Ridge teachers detail their 5th-grade student stream study at West Fannin Elementary School. In coordination with the adopt-a-stream organization, these young scientists conduct habitat surveys, perform chemical water tests, collect leaf packs for identification and even search for macroinvertebrates that they take back to the lab and examine under microscopes.
