Teen Mental Health Roundtable | Special

Hope Givers brings together six high school students from across Georgia for an honest discussion about depression, anxiety, social media, COVID-19, trusted adults, and rising suicide rates with youth.

Moderated by Tamlin Hall, this half-hour special includes insights from Dr. Reef Karim, MD (Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience, and Senior Attending Physician, Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center) and Cheryl Benefield (Mental Health & Wellbeing Coordinator, Georgia Department of Education). Also featured are student produced films, youth led self-care activities, and a performance by the Digital Young Kingz.

If you're a parent, educator, student, or have young people in your life - we encourage you to watch and listen.
