Remember “Linsanity”?

Last month, New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin became the talk of the sports world (and really pretty much everywhere else, too) after an electrifying performance against the New Jersey Nets. He has the quintessential American story: he didn’t come from a big college basketball program, he was Asian-American, and he was repeatedly passed over and cut and discounted as a player.

Until he got his chance. And did he ever make that chance count.

The hype around Lin has subsided a bit as the Knicks have hit a slump (and their coach has quit). But Brandon Smith says there are lessons from Lin’s rise we can all apply to our careers.

What we can learn from Jeremy Lin on this week’s Working on GPB Radio.
