The all-time leading rusher at Mary Persons High School, Duke Watson, is excited to take his talents to Louisville next season. The 4-star senior combines track speed with natural instincts and elite physicality to be a real weapon in the backfield.

The 6-foot, 180-pound Watson is currently the No. 36 running back in the country and No. 55 overall player in the state, according to the 247Sports Composite. He was previously committed to Georgia Tech in early March before flipping to Louisville after his official visit in June.

Watson was the ninth commitment of the 2024 class for the Cardinals, as well as the second running back alongside 4-star Issac Brown.
