University of Utah legacy Jamal Anderson is forging his own path and heading to Clemson next season. Anderson is the son of former Utes running back Jamal Anderson, who went on to play in the NFL for eight seasons and earned a Pro Bowl selection with the Atlanta Falcons in 1998.

Anderson is currently a senior at Mill Creek High School and is the No. 16 linebacker in the nation and No. 15 overall player in the state, according to the 247Sports Composite. In 2021, he earned Class 7A all-region and all-state honors after totaling 78 tackles, 7 for loss and four sacks.

The 4-star prospect has helped lead Mill Creek to the playoffs for four years in a row. He has always dreamed of being a Tiger but has some unfinished business with the Hawks this postseason.
