Norcross High tight end Lawson Luckie will carry out his family legacy and head to Athens to play for the Georgia Bulldogs next season. His dad, Mike, and two uncles all played for UGA at the same time in the late 1990s and were nicknamed the “Luckie Triplets.”

Family means everything to Luckie so staying close to home, only 55 miles from campus to be exact, was a big motivating factor into him picking the Dawgs. He could also see some playing time as a freshman with current Georgia TE Darnell Washington declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft, where he’s projected to be taken in the first round.

Luckie is a 4-star prospect and rated the No. 11 tight end in the country and No. 17 overall player in that state, according to the 247Sports composite.
