The University of Alabama now has the No. 3 overall recruiting class in the 2022 cycle after Elijah Pritchett committed to the Crimson Tide. The 6-foot-6, 295-pound senior, out of Carver Columbus High School, is the No. 9 offensive tackle in the nation and No. 8 overall player in the state, according to the 247Sports Composite.

On Tuesday, Pritchett decided to make his decision live on CBS Sports HQ alongside his closest friends and family. He chose Alabama over his hometown team Georgia, Florida State and Southern Cal. He pointed out that his relationship with head coach Nick Saban and the Tide’s championship history were key factors in his decision.
