Leo Blackburn is a starting wide receiver for Westlake High School in Atlanta. The 6-foot-5, 217-pound senior is the No. 24 tight end in the nation and No. 39 overall player in the state, according to the 247Sports Composite.

After some late pushes by top D1 programs, Blackburn decided to stick to his plan and sign with Georgia Tech on National Early Signing Day. He said he got to see himself on television for the very first time during his announcement and it made his mom and Westlake head coach Bobby May so proud.

Blackburn is looking forward to competing at the next level, but he still has some work to do for the Lions. Coach May’s team is trying to make history by appearing in the school’s first state championship game.
