The Fourth of July—also known as the United States’ Independence Day—has been the country’s most cherished symbol of freedom since the 18th century when the 13 colonies declared its independence from Great Britain. 7. Painting Fireworks

Here is a super easy and fun Fourth of July activity from Learning4Kids—creating fireworks with paint!

Using some of the left over cardboard rolls from paper towels or gift wrap, you and your kids can create different length ‘firework’ fans for printing with paint. The print pattern created by the cardboard roll fans mimics that of fireworks brilliantly and children can create as many different size and colored fireworks as they like.
