Discovery Education In Action
Georgia Public Broadcasting’s partnership with Discovery Education (DE) provides Georgia teachers with free access to Streaming Plus services. The task of using digital resources may be overwhelming, especially when there are more than 100,000 options, so DE has made it easier for teachers to see how others use their resources through webinars and live classroom broadcasts!
To help teachers hear practical tips and see strategies for integrating Discovery Education into the classroom, checkout their monthly webinar series. The webinars are broadcasted on the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Here is a list of upcoming topics:
July 26: DENSI 2016, Top Takeaways—Register
August 30: Back to School, Updates and Resources—Register
September 27: Digital Storytelling—Register

Want to feature your classroom?
DE is looking for community members (i.e., YOU!) who are willing to open the doors to their classrooms (literally) to show what Discovery Education looks like in action in the classroom. If you are interested in showcasing the great work you are doing with students, express your interest by completing this form (https://lrougeux.wufoo.com/forms/discovery-education-in-action/)
Please join the #DEinAction discussion by telling us how you use Discovery Education in your classrooms! If you have not yet set up your free DE account, email us at email@example.com to get started.
