As you may know, PBS Learning Media is our digital media resource center that pools the best PBS shows, games and lessons in one place for you to use in the classroom. If you are doing a lesson on Black History month for example, you can use clips from the PBS documentary “Looking for Lincoln” to discuss the Emancipation Proclamation. If you want to get pre-schoolers excited about music, you can incorporate a clip on musical improvisations from the show “Dinosaur Train.” Those clips and many more are available in the system.

Here’s further incentive to love and use it: the Love to Teach? Like PBS Learning Media Sweepstakes. From now until February 17, you have a chance to win one of five daily prizes and a DVD set of Downton Abbey, when you register for PBS Learning Media through Facebook.

Simply go to the Love to Teach? Like PBS Learning Media Facebook Fan page and fill in the entry form. Then register for the PBS Learning Media service. It’s as easy as that!

Let us know if you have any questions and what you think of PBS Learning Media. What digital resources are you using? What do your students like? Share some of your stories with us.

And of course let us know if you win!
