A new commander will be officially taking charge of a unit at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.

Lt. Col. Dave Steele will be recognized in a ceremony Monday as the incoming commander of Detachment A, Marine Aircraft Group 49. He was last assigned to the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Va. The outgoing commander, Lt. Col. Michael Johnson, will move to Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Ala., to study at the Air Force Air War College.

The detachment is located at Robins with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773, the only attack helicopter squadron in the Marine Corps Reserve.
