Study Predicts Georgia Healthcare Boom
Primary Content
Georgia's healthcare industry will grow by 150,000 jobs in the next decade according to a recent Georgetown University report.
The report identifies state-by-state growth rates of healthcare industry jobs by analyzing attributes such as the demand for occupations and education in healthcare.
Georgia’s anticipated 38% increase in healthcare jobs is second only to Utah.
The report says that states with the highest concentrations of overweight or obese populations will increase demand.
