A Denmark-based automotive supplier has announced plans to open a manufacturing plant in south Georgia expected to bring 250 jobs and $15 million to the state.

Gov. Nathan Deal announced Thursday that automotive emissions control and exhaust manufacturer Dinex Group will open its first U.S. plant in Dublin-Laurens County.

The 60,000-square foot plant is scheduled for completion by September, with plans to double within the next five years.

Dinex's operates in 14 countries and supplies exhaust systems for trucks, buses, vans and machines. Its customers include Carrier, John Deere, Case New Holland, Volvo and Caterpillar, which recently announced plans to build a new $200 million factory in Athens this year.

Interested applicants may apply and get additional information through the Laurens County Department of Labor as positions become available.
