NCR, an Atlanta based company, is using self-service kiosks to help people file their immigration papers.

Five pilot kiosks have been set up in Texas, at Barri Financial Group locations. Barri offers non-banking services, such as wire transfers and money orders commonly used by immigrants.

These kiosks will offer five common immigration forms in both English and Spanish.

There are over 12 million legal immigrants in the United States. 1.2 million of these live in Texas.

Immigrants typically pay between $250 and $1000 for each form if they go through a middle man.

Each form can be completed at the kiosk for between $25 and $100.

NCR officials hope that these kiosks will make it easier for legal immigrants to obey immigration laws.

If the plot program is successful, NCR will set up kiosks around the nation.
