Two more Georgia communities are set to put Sunday alcohol sales before voters.

The Dalton City Council in northwest Georgia voted unanimously Monday to place the issue on the ballot in November.

The Savannah Morning News reports that Garden City’s City Council near Savannah held a similar vote last night and unanimously approved it for a fall ballot.

Governor Nathan Deal has signed a bill allowing communities to let local voters decide whether stores can sell alcohol on Sunday.

Several local governments are considering whether to put the issue before voters this year.
