Areas of extreme north Georgia are getting another light dusting of snow again this morning. And officially, there’s a winter weather advisory in place for far northeast Georgia until noon.

The weekend brought a white Christmas for at least a good half of the state—areas far north and in the mountains got 6-8 inches of snow on Christmas Day. In metro Atlanta, it was the region’s first significant snowfall on Christmas in more than 120 years. The National Weather Service says snow accumulations were also registered in areas near middle Georgia.

Today’s forecast will have high temperatures in the 30’s and 40’s, with lows again tonight in the teens for many areas of the state. Tuesday will bring warmer daytime highs—in the 40’s and 50’s.
