A Georgia pastor who was arrested after protesting a high school's demon mascot says he will stop.

Thirty-six-year-old Donald Crosby was protesting the Warner Robins High School mascot when he was arrested Monday. Crosby and supporters picked the opening day of classes to protest the pitchfork-wielding mascot. Crosby, of Kingdom Builders Church of Jesus Christ, says his son attends the school and he doesn't want him exposed to the name's devilish connotations.

But now he says the message has been delivered and he plans to stop protesting. That didn't come before authorities arrested Crosby again Thursday for disorderly conduct.

School officials say the mascot honors a World War II fighter squadron nicknamed the "Screamin' Demons."
