If you missed this year’s Owl-O-Ween Hot Air Balloon Festival, do yourself a favor and mark your calendar for October 2020 so you won’t miss the event billed as Atlanta’s largest costume party.

My colleagues and I spent another (mostly) glorious autumn weekend at Kennesaw State University’s Sports and Entertainment Park for the 7th annual Owl-O-Ween Festival. In addition to costumed merriment, Owl-O-Ween is also Atlanta’s largest hot air balloon festival. It also features several stages with live performers and karaoke, a missive food court and beer garden, a silent disco and a whole stadium of trick-or-treating opportunities for the entire family.

Those visiting the Georgia Public Broadcasting tent were treated with light-up GPB fidget spinners, sturdy pumpkin trick or treating sacks and even GPB hand sanitizer (surprisingly popular with the kiddies). We had a terrific time as always meeting and greeting families in the community we’re proud to serve, who came out even in Sunday’s chilly rain to enjoy this year’s festival. Take a look at the photo gallery below and be sure to check our Community Events page regularly for a list of upcoming events.

Hope to see you soon!
