Monroe Tarver Talks about African-Americans in Children's Literature

The Princess and the Frog, Disney's first animated movie about a black princess, comes out Friday. In the audio link below, Monroe Tarver, an author and illustrator originally from Georgia and now living in Charlotte, North Carolina, recently wrote a book about a black princess and discusses the presence of African-Americans in children's literature and movies.
