The Macon Newsroom is a nonprofit newsroom focused on accountability and solutions-oriented journalism. The newsroom operates out of Mercer University’s Reg Murphy Center for Collaborative Journalism and is a member of the Institute for Nonprofit News (INN).
Beginning this summer, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities from across Georgia will travel to Macon for crisis services and routine medical care such as physical exams, mammograms and dentistry.
