A Georgia Tech student convicted in June of plotting to aid overseas terrorists took the witness stand against a suspected cohort today.

Syed Ahmed said that he and Ehsanul Islam Sadequee discussed attacks on American oil tanks and refineries to disrupt the economy and send fuel prices soaring. He called it "fantasy talk" but acknowledged it dominated their online chats.

He also said the two talked of traveling to Pakistan "to obtain military-style jihad training."

Sadequee, faces up to 60 years in prison on charges he aided terror groups by sending them videos of Washington landmarks and traveling to Bangladesh to link with contacts.
