You remember them from your school days, the students at the top of the class. They’re the athletes and the star students, the creative ones and the young public servants. In the Top of their Class series we will look at the lives of three students at the top of their class from three very different schools in Macon.

Ansley Edwards is a senior at Stratford Academy, the top flight private school on Macon's north side. Like many high school students, Ansley packs her day with activities meant to wow college admissions officers. Now with a relative coast into graduation, she wonders if there is something she missed. Among other activities, Ansley is a mentor to some of her school's middle school aged girls. We met Ansley during her monthly session with those students.
