A new political action committee wants the candidates in Georgia's US Senate race to reject donations from anonymous donors.

CounterPAC ran a full page ad in the Atlanta Journal Constitution last week, asking Democrat Michelle Nunn and Republican David Perdue to reject so-called "dark money" from super PACs, which can raise unlimited amounts from anonymous sources.

"What we're asking is all of the outside money in the race be disclosed. They just have to be transparent about where the money is coming from and who the donors are," says California businessman Jim Greer, founder of CounterPAC.

Greer says he doesn't think money in politics is a bad thing, but he wants donors and politicians to be transparent about where it comes from.

Georgia's Senate race is one of three races targeted by CounterPAC. Greer says he picked Georgia, because neither Nunn nor Perdue have run for office before. Greer says he's talked with managers of both campaigns about signing his pledge. So far, neither candidate has publicly said if they will do so.
