On Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in a case that allows the Trump administration to end temporary protective status for hundreds of thousands of Haitians and Syrians who are in the U.S. for humanitarian reasons. According to U.S. Census data nearly 40-thousand Haitians live in Georgia with most living in Metro-Atlanta.

Denmark says security in Syria has improved enough for some refugees to go back. "The words 'to send us back to Syria' means to destroy our lives," says a Syrian whose residence permit was revoked.

Europe's largest refugee camp, on the Greek island of Lesbos, was built to hold 3,000 people. When fires struck this week, the settlement of 12,000 was largely destroyed.
