Attorneys for family of absolved Black man killed by deputy seeking $16M from Georgia sheriff

Attorneys for the family of a Black man fatally shot by a Georgia deputy during a traffic stop are demanding $16 million in restitution from the sheriff's office. The attorneys say Tuesday they have sent Camden County notice that they intend to file suit.

Rittenhouse's defense renews focus on the case of a 17-year-old who killed her abuser

As a teenager in 2018, Chrystul Kizer shot and killed the man who sexually assaulted and trafficked her. Advocates say given the Rittenhouse verdict, a self-defense argument should work in her favor.

Grand Jury Declines To Indict Church Security Guard Who Killed Gunman In Texas

Jack Wilson didn't hesitate when a man with a shotgun fired into a packed church near Fort Worth last winter. Wilson killed the man with one shot. On Monday, a grand jury declined to indict him.
