2024 Michelin Guide to Atlanta drops: Which restaurants earned stars and Bib Gourmands

The 2024 Michelin Guide to Atlanta is now official. Of the 57 restaurants recognized in this year’s guide, Staplehouse and Spring earned one star, while Atlas and Lazy Betty retained their one star. Restaurants like Whoopsie’s and Superica were named new Bib Gourmands.

The 2024 Atlanta Michelin Guide drops Oct. 28

Michelin will reveal its 2024 Atlanta dining guide during a ceremony at the Georgia World Congress Center on Monday, Oct. 28. This year marks the city’s second dining guide from the French tire company, which awards coveted stars, Bib Gourmands, and other distinctions to restaurants in cities worldwide, including Atlanta.

Update: Sinkhole swallows sign, threatens restaurants on Atlanta's Peachtree Road

What began as a deep but much smaller hole in front of Sufi’s Kitchen on Peachtree Road in Buckhead on Friday, has now turned into a large sinkhole that swallowed the Persian restaurant’s sign on Monday afternoon. It’s also threatening neighboring restaurants R. Thomas Deluxe Grille and Bell Street Burritos as well as the southbound lanes of Peachtree Road.

The cofounder of Taiwan's famed Din Tai Fung restaurant chain died at 96, his company announced March 26. He helped turn delicate soup dumplings into a global phenomenon, even earning Michelin stars.
