House Bill 325 would require all law enforcement officers to wear body cameras while on the job. It would also classify tampering with a body camera as a misdemeanor. 

Demonstrators gathered near a Rochester, N.Y., police precinct — not far from where a 9-year-old girl was pepper-sprayed last week. An officer is suspended, two others are on administrative leave.

The incident renews scrutiny of the city and its police department following the death of Daniel Prude, a Black man who died of asphyxiation after an encounter with police in March.

Waukegan's mayor said the release of the video is expected before Thursday. An unnamed officer who shot and killed Marcellis Stinnette and injured Tafara Williams has been terminated.

Footage released by the Lancaster Bureau of Police Sunday shows Ricardo Munoz was fired upon by an officer. Police said Munoz had a knife and was brandishing it "in a threatening manner."
