Texas state officials announced the arrest of Wolfe City police officer Shaun Lucas for shooting and killing Jonathan Price. Officials said the officer's actions "were not objectionably reasonable."

The site of James Scurlock's shooting death in Omaha, Neb., is still being preserved as a memorial in mid-September. Last Tuesday, a grand jury indicted Jake Gardner in the killing, handing down four criminal counts, including manslaughter.

Jake Gardner was on the West Coast when a grand jury indicted him last week for the May killing of James Scurlock in Omaha, Neb. Gardner died "at his own hand," his lawyers said Sunday.

Breonna Taylor's Mother: 'I Won't Go Away. I'll Still Fight'

Tamika Palmer says she wants the officers who killed her daughter to be charged. "Even in the very beginning of this year, she kept saying 2020 was her year," she said. "And she was absolutely right."

Emergency medical technician Breonna Taylor, 26, was shot and killed by police in her home in March. Her name has become a rallying cry in protests against police brutality and social injustice.
