Employees at the General Services Administration are scrambling to lease offices to accommodate a rapid increase of immigration enforcement officers carrying out widespread raids across the country.

This is one of two agreements that was supposed to have been signed by Oct. 1. The Trump team has decided to forgo the second one, saying it has its own systems in place.

As part of an annual effort, the General Services Administration is offloading six lighthouses this year to eligible groups that promise to maintain them. The rest will be auctioned off to the public.

Democrats want answers from Emily Murphy, administrator of the General Services Administration, as to why she has delayed ascertaining President-elect Joe Biden's election win.
