GPB evening headlines for October 15, 2024

Georgia has broken a record for the number of votes on the first day of early voting, with brisk lines for more than 200,000 voters.

Students in Lowndes County are returning to school this week, as are others in Georgia districts hardest hit by Hurricane Helene.

Atlanta will host the Super Bowl in 2028 after a vote of approval by NFL team owners.  It's the fourth time Atlanta will host the game.
