A wave of avian flu struck Knuckle Bump Farms, which Emmanuel the emu calls home. Several birds had to be euthanized as a result, which could be causing stress for the TikTok star.
Taylor Blake's family farm in South Florida, Knuckle Bump Farms, has lost 99% of its birds to avian flu. Its most famous resident has suffered nerve damage in his right leg and foot.
"We put the sign up, but we're not quite sure whether they're able to read or not," Yaraka Hotel co-owner Gerry Gimblett says in an Australian TV interview.
