Columbus Mayor Requests DOJ Review Of Racial Bias In Police Force

"We want to be partners with the DOJ to bring about meaningful, sustainable and significant reforms," the mayor's letter says. It comes a week after 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant was killed by police.

A Columbus, Ohio, police officer was removed from duty temporarily following the fatal shooting of a Black man early Tuesday. The officer behind the shooting didn't turn on his body-worn camera to record the shooting.
