Voters in several states were asked to weigh in on ballot measures specifically related to abortion rights.
A Georgia county's election official has admitted failing to mail more than 1,000 absentee ballots to voters who asked for them. Most of the Cobb County voters who weren't sent their ballots will now have to vote in person on Election Day if they want to vote.
An Associated Press survey of state election officials across the U.S. found that the expanded use of drop boxes for mailed ballots during the 2020 election didn't lead to any widespread problems. That's contrary to claims made by former President Donald Trump and his allies, who have intensely criticized their use and falsely claimed they opened the door to fraud.
Election experts say there is no longer enough time to ensure ballots sent through the mail will be delivered in time. They're encouraging voters to deliver their ballots by hand or vote in person.
