Andre Longmore, the suspect in the shooting deaths of four people in a Hampton, Georgia neighborhood over the weekend, was shot and killed by police.

A funeral was held Sunday for Dr. Willie Chritine King Farris at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta.  She was the last living sibling of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  

First lady Dr. Jill Biden will be in Augusta on Tuesday to promote workforce development as part of President Biden's economic policies.

Nightlife in Savannah could undergo major changes in the near future.

Ninety-six  people arrived for Fulton County grand jury duty unaware that some of them could decide one of the nation’s biggest cases — whether to indict Donald Trump for allegedly interfering with the 2020 presidential election.  Fulton County Superior Court impaneled two grand juries of 26 people each yesterday.

Haze and smoke over the past few weeks have brought into focus the 40-year-old state program that monitors air quality.
