The only Georgia lawmaker  indicted with former President Donald Trump and currently in office is freshman state Senator Shawn Still of Norcross. Determining whether he remains in office while the legal process plays out begins with the governor.  

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has committed $140 billion to food and nutrition so far this year. From that, some Georgia schools will soon see a boost in funding to improve their lunch programs.

A rare kind of invasive hornet was identified this month in southeast Georgia, marking the first time the species has been found alive on U.S. soil.
